Emedastine (Emadine) Dose for Allergic conjunctivitis:
- Ophthalmic:
- Instill one drop in the affected eye up to four times a day.
Use in children:

Emedastine (Emadine) Pregnancy Risk Category: B
- Systemic absorption is very low after ophthalmic treatment.
- It has also not been shown to cause adverse fetal outcomes in animal research.
- If the drug is administered during pregnancy, there is no risk to fetal exposure.
Use during breastfeeding:
- It is unknown if the drug will be excreted into breastmilk.
- It is recommended that you use it with caution if you are breastfeeding.
Emadine Dose in Kidney disease:
- In the manufacturer's labeling adjustment in the dose has not been recommended.
- However, since absorption following ophthalmic instillation is minimal, dose adjustment is usually not required.

How to administer Emedastine (Emadine)?
- It is intended for ophthalmic use only. Before using the drug, wash hands.
- Avoid touching the tip of the dropper with the eyelids or other surfaces when using it to avoid contamination.
- Contact lenses should be removed before administering the drug.
- After instilling the drops, wait for about ten minutes before reinserting the contact lenses.
- Patients with red eyes should avoid wearing contact lenses
